Chaetodon Aureofasciatus
Chaetodon Butterflyfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work should be provided for grazing and hiding. Chaetodon Butterflyfish may pick at corals and crustaceans. A diet of meaty and algae-based foods should be provided multiple times daily. Multiples can be added simultaneously to a large aquarium. Chaetodon Butterflyfish tend to be shy and peaceful but can become territorial if their aquarium is too small.
The Golden Striped Butterflyfish shows overall white coloured body and darkly trimmed scales. They have a yellow tail, anal, dorsal and pelvic fins. They have an orange stripe that runs through their eyes and is trimmed with black and another narrow vertical orange band on the front of its body. Golden Stripe Butterflyfish can grow up to 15cm in length.
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 200L or larger for this species.
